Palmer Veterinary Clinic in Palmer, Alaska has a position available for a veterinary technician. Experience as a vet tech and with animals is required, licensing is a plus. Technician responsibilities include venipuncture, administering injections, laboratory work, performing radiographs with proper technique, anesthetic induction and monitoring, surgical prep and assistance, dental prophylaxis, patient treatments, elective surgical releases, client education/client communication, computer record entry, filling prescriptions, etc. Emphasis on team approach to client service between receptionist, technical and veterinary staff.
Full time, part time, or relief available. Wages and benefits DOE.
