Maintenance Laborer
Multi-unit restaurant company that operates in Anchorage, Eagle River and Girdwood is seeking hands on assistance with the ongoing operations and daily tasks associated within the maintenance department. Minimum Experience required: general knowledge of tools and materials; training provided on preventative maintenance of restaurant equipment; lots of handy work of different types and job task.
Job Summary - Provide maintenance support for Subway Restaurants. Variety of job task related to the maintenance department.
Duties, including but not limited to:
Runner for Maintenance Department
Conduct Preventative Maintenance on Restaurant Equipment once trained
Minor carpentry work, painting, unclogging drains, replacing ceiling tiles
Daily handy work of different types of job task
Seasonal maintenance such as; lawn mowing/weed eating, shoveling snow on sidewalks
Manual Labor - movement of restaurant equipment or restaurant related items
Travel and work will be throughout Anchorage, Eagle River and Girdwood
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old
Valid driver's license - good driving record and auto insurance verification
Must have reliable vehicle
Pass background check and drug test
Be able to lift 50 plus pounds on an as needed basis
Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment
Must be friendly and professional and a team player.
Ability to communicate effectively
