Level I-III
Uses hand tools, working in a team with other assemblers and support departments to ensure products timely completion with high quality standards
Performs inspection of own work in immediate work area
Maintains adequate supplies and a neat and orderly work areaMaintains tools and equipment in proper working order
Maintains the security and confidentiality of or customers products and documentation
May become involved with product testing
Participates in providing timely feedback to other operations as appropriate
Level II
Able to perform all the essential functions and competencies listed above
Is cross-trained in all operations and/or is a specialist in at least one of the more involved processes
Able to use a wide variety of tooling
Works with moderately complex processes and more difficult customers expectations- able to use more independent judgment with some oversight by supervision
Works with more complex product testing
Serves as a mentor to lesser skilled employees
Level III
Able to perform all the essential functions and competencies listed above
Works on most difficult assemblies and may be consulted for recommendations for process improvements by engineering or management
Recognized as area expert in being able to perform and train in all or specialized production and testing operations
Troubleshoots all levels of problems through testing and makes recommendations for continuous improvement
Able to perform a wide array of testing on most complex product builds
Able to calibrate test equipment as specified by customer requirements
Has wide latitude for using independent judgment with minimal supervisory oversight
May work with customers as required
Serves as a mentor as well as a back-up to the Team Leader or supervisor in their absence
