Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington is hiring! Our Alaska office has an exciting opportunity for a temporary, part-time Special Events Intern. This paid internship position will assist with functions related to our fundraising event, Happiness Hour. Examples of this are assisting with the procurement of auction items, researching and solicitating potential event sponsors, and support and management of other projects and event logistics as needed. Other key skill sets include: attention to detail, ability to complete multi-step processes, knowledge of the Alaska region, excellent writing, editing, communication and organizational skills. Compensation is $15/hour and this position will work 10-20 hours per week for three months.
