Local accounting firm seeking an exceptional Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is not an entry-level position. This role is responsible for interactions with all staff, including managers and partners. This position has daily interactions with our clients, so providing stellar service in a professional manner is of utmost importance. General activities include filing, copying, scanning and project-related assistance.
Duties
Meet and exceed the expectations of clients and staff
Answer telephone calls quickly and efficiently using a multi-line system
Greet clients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Exercise a confidential demeanor with respect to all client and employee information
Assist clients in picking up tax returns and other information
Schedule and change appointments for clients and staff
Assembling of tax returns
Document creation and formatting
Perform general reception, office, clerical duties and assist other staff as needed
Assist HR/Office Manager with planning of staff lunches and incentives during tax season
Qualifications
4+ years of recent Administrative Assistant experience
Intermediate-advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Typing of 60+ wpm
Strong communication skills: written, verbal, and over the telephone
Well-organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated
High energy level, enthusiastic, positive outlook, and the ability to multi-task
Supervisory experience helpful
Salary will be depending on experience. For our full-time staff some of the benefits we offer are PTO starting at three weeks the first year, paid holidays, health insurance, life insurance and long-term disability insurance.
This is an hourly, full-time position with overtime required between mid-February through mid-April and again the first two weeks of September and October.
