Following are some of the tasks you would be doing in this position:

Manage all public and private sector contracts that require ongoing maintenance and administration relating to price, customer notification requirements, and CPI adjustments. The position maintains and administers the database and updates it as new contracts and supply agreements are negotiated and initiated.

Gather ongoing marketing activity from marketing department personnel, and uses it to prepare and distribute the weekly marketing report.

Contact all terminals weekly to acquire competitive price surveys, which serve as the basis for management of plant, posted prices and the companys overall pricing policy.

Generate custom reports as required by members of the marketing departments and assists with other general marketing responsibilities as assigned.

Under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer, work directly with corporate advertising agencies to assist with development of the annual media plan, preparation of the media budget, and continuous tracking of all ad placements to insure the media plan is being implemented as planned.

Assist with development of seasonal and special promotions, sales flyers, and related marketing materials.

Knowledge, skills and abilities that will help you succeed in this position:

Exceptional ability to consistently maintain the high standards and professionalism that are the image of Petro Marine Services, including professional dress, language, and attitude.

Possess strong skills in accuracy, competency in math, and attention to detail. Discernment and ability to keep confidentiality is important.

Have solid knowledge of general office procedures and systems.

Must be good with people and have excellent customer service skills, collaborate easily and work well with team members.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong organization skills are required, as well as ability to keep workspace tidy and clean.

Proficiency in Word, Excel and be able to run pivot tables. Aptitude in desktop publishing, social media, and our industry-specific software can be an asset.

Must have excellent communication skills “ verbal and written, to include emails, proposals, and correspondence.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma required. A minimum of five years experience with a significant level of responsibility is required. Must have a working knowledge of overseeing contracts through their lifecycle.

Good attendance is a requirement, as this position is the hub and support for the Marketing team, who are often traveling.
