Construction Project Manager
Davis Constructors & Engineers, Inc. seeks an experienced, motivated Construction Project Manager to join our team of high achievers. With a number of high profile projects, our new team member will need to be detail oriented and bring broad experience in construction and project management. CM, Civil Engineering degree or equivalent preferred.
5+ yearsâ experience with estimating, scheduling and managing large vertical complex projects. Must be able to work autonomously and have proven success in client/subcontractor relationships.
⢠Produce, review and approve project schedules and micro-phases of work
⢠Manage subcontracts and purchase orders
⢠Ensure that work meets company expectations for quality of workmanship, conformance to contract, and adherence to schedule
⢠Ensure that jobsites comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, statutes, ordinances, rules and laws
⢠Ensure that all employees, subcontractor employees, and visitors to the jobsite comply with company safety policies and procedures
⢠Must be willing to travel, if required

Project Engineer
Davis Constructors & Engineers, Inc. is accepting resumes for a Project Engineer.
A construction management or civil engineering degree and a minimum of 3-5 years exp. is preferred. Applicants must have experience w / estimating & scheduling software, managing large complex projects, & proven success in subcontractor/client relationships. Applicants are required to be competent with Excel, Word and Outlook and a strong preference toward applicants with experience in Primavera software.
Responsibilities include assisting with bidding, subcontracts, material procurement, and submittals. Applicants will be responsible for quality control, cost coding, cost tracking, equipment tracking and jobsite coordination as required by management. Applicants must successfully coordinate with project manager, field personal, design teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
Applicant will:
⢠Ensure Contract Document Logs are established and maintained
⢠Ensure status reports on RFIs, Submittals and other Documents are prepared and presented
⢠Write effective scopes of work for bid packages
⢠Effectively issue Request for Quotations and follow up with Trade Contractors
⢠Timely document field quality activities
⢠Prepare change management reports, estimates and other cost report documents
⢠Establish and maintain the project quality files and documentation systems
⢠Continually promote organizational change initiatives, suggests new ideas, and adapt to work within new structures and processes
⢠Continually seek to understand customer goals and needs and act with a sense of urgency in meeting customer needs and demonstrating value
⢠Develop industry relationships and expand professional networks that have potential to generate opportunities
⢠Ability to create and maintain construction schedules with critical path methods
