The Petersen Group is looking for a new Office Assistant to work Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (full time). The Petersen Group is a construction company specializing in community development. In other words, we’ve built thousands of homes throughout several neighborhoods (developments) across Anchorage and there’s a good chance you’ve seen one!
This job requires a well-rounded person with a positive attitude. We would like someone who can fulfill the following list of items:
- Call and receive (+act upon) comfortably
- Efficient and quick email correspondence
- Create different types of folders
- Organize files and other items
- Schedule appointments
- Create, submit, receive, and file (whole process)
- Act as courrier when needed
- Multitask and prioritize with efficiency
- Communicate with homeowners and tenants regarding warranty requests, etc.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- QuickBooks experience is preferred
- Construction knowledge preferred
What sets this job apart from other Administrative Assistants is that you’ll act as a hub for the company. You will do a variety of things and they can’t be bundled into the same category. Come looking put together, have a positive attitude, and expect the unexpected. Every day follows a similar routine, but no two days are exactly alike.
