ALASKABUSINESS DEVEOPMENT CENTER
Become a valuable and instrumental team member for a small nonprofit seeking individuals to assist with a unique program that has provided services for more than twenty-five years to rural Alaskan residents.
Gain hands-on experience in a professional, yet casual environment located on the outskirts of downtown, complete with parking garage. Workload and activity varies and is centered in tax preparation, volunteers and rural communities. Training and guidance provided.
Qualifications:
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Exemplary customer service skills
Proficient in MS Word and Excel
Self-starter with excellent organization skills
Detail oriented, proactive individual who takes ownership of work
Work well independently and within a team environment
Dependable and trustworthy with ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to establish priorities and complete objectives
Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
Responsibilities:
Assist program management
Correspond with and assist clients
Assist with tax preparation
Develop program materials and reports
Track statistics
Maintain electronic and paper files
Assist with special projects
