This position exists for the primary purpose of performing all duties involving the receipt of donated items and the sorting of such items into basic classifications as directed and determining those articled which my be retained for resale and which items should be trashed. Some functions are: Greet customers, assist unloading items as necessary, make judgment calls (which items to keep etc.), dispense donation receipts, sort donated items, collapse cardboard boxes, maintain trash area, attend staff meetings, answer phone, and perform other duties as assigned.

Job requirements: Self motivated, capable of operation with minimum amount of direction, good communication skills, and able to get along with others.

Physical requirements: Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly, stoop, bend, raise arms above head, and stand for work for several hours at a time.
