Looking for experienced retail store assistant manager for long-time locally owned outdoor apparel and gear store.
Must be outgoing, detail-oriented & reliable. You need to be able to work with and get along with management & staff. Prior retail experience is required.
We sell outdoor apparel, footwear and gear, so preference will be given to "outdoorsy" candidates with relevant experience & knowledge.
In addition to customer service skills, you must able to merchandise and organize retail floor with efficiency and style. You are able to create signage and displays. Must be able to learn and use our inventory systems. Must be able to carry, lift and move merchandise. Must be willing to work in all phases of retail store operation, from mailroom & internet order systems to taking out trash to organizing warehouse to helping customers to designing floor layout and doing a compete re-merchandise of store floor.
You are reliable, hard-working, take initiative, are able to carry out tasks independently and act as a staff leader.
