A fast growing, mechanical contractor serving the Mat-SU Valley is currently accepting resumes for a full-time HVAC COMFORT SPECIALIST / CUSTOMER SERVICE CONSULTANT, responsible for identifying and developing new customers as well as responding to, sourcing, estimating and cultivating HVAC service and maintenance opportunities in the Mat-Su Valley. The Comfort Specialist / Customer Service Consultant translates customer requirements and recommendations provided by our field technicians and supervisors into cost effective proactive maintenance and service proposals to our existing and potential new customers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Previous sales and / or customer service experience in HVAC or other related fields

Ability to build rapport with clients

Client interaction skills with the ability to identify, analyze and communicate project specifics of:

Mechanical application

Estimation of costs

Manpower

Strong negotiation skills

Deadline and detail-oriented

Drug and alcohol free

Able to lift up to 50 pounds

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers

Prospect and contact potential customers

Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline

Resolve customer inquiries and complaints

Set follow-up calls / emails / appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments

Create sales material to present to customers

Single source responsible to the customer and company

Identifying and cultivating relationships with clients, team members, engineering, subcontractors and vendors

Sourcing, estimating, drafting and submitting professional written proposals

Ability to operate independently and autonomously, and yet possess the discretionary judgment to consult with others in the organization when appropriate

Demonstrated experience / ability to develop new business

Verbal and written communication including good phone and email etiquette

Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high paced environment

SKILLSETS:

HVAC application capabilities

Microsoft Office

Strong Excel and Word experience preferred.
