Working in an environment of cooperation and knowledge sharing, this position provides the hands-on technical problem solving and installation of audiovisual communications systems.

The System Technician I provides clear and timely communication to the team and clients. This position requires someone able to work collaboratively among departments and provide excellent customer service.

Primary duties for this role include:

- Learn integration fundamentals, including video and audio theory, control, and connectivity.

- Build cables, terminate and solder various terminations, and build and dress equipment racks.

- Assist with setting up and tearing down for trade shows and other company events.

- Utilize a team approach with co-workers to ensure the customer's needs are promptly met.

- Install displays, screens, basic control systems, basic audio systems, and other system components.

This is a physically demanding job; it requires a person who can demonstrate he/she is fit for duty and is capable of handling the physical components of the job. He/she must have a history of showing an energetic attitude, being positive, and demonstrating initiative in his/her career. This position requires someone who works well under pressure with a lot of distractions.

In addition to the physical and professional requirements, a competitive candidate must demonstrate a thorough understanding of TCP-IP and basic networking - and if he/she has soldering skills, that would be terrific! He/she must be able to pass a drug test and fully understand that continual testing is expected for this job. He/she must have a clean driving record and, similar to keeping clear of drugs, he/she must also fully understand that this job requires keeping a clean driving record.
