MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN POSITION: IMMEDIATE HIRE!
Position Summary :
The Maintenance Technician supports the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining overall appearance and working order. The Maintenance Technician position requires overall maintenance knowledge and trouble shooting ability with skills in painting, HVAC, carpentry, equipment, and tool usage. This position requires a strong attention to detail, ability to communicate effectively and the demonstrated ability to bend, lift, stand and walk for extended and repeated periods of time.
Essential Functions:
Respond to work orders from Property Manager and other departments, Perform duties of a groundskeeper. and Building Maintenance Tech.
Complete work order requests in a timely manner.
Repairs may include plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs.
Respond to emergencies.
Assist Housekeeping department as needed.
Follow all company, safety and security policies and procedures.
Ensure professional appearance at all times.
All other duties as assigned.

Ability to handle stress under pressure.
Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands :
Must be able to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull and move continuously during work hours
Must be to lift and/or carry a minimum of 50 (fifty) pounds.
Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Two years maintenance experience preferred.
Valid Alaska driver's license and transportation required.
Must pass background check and drug test.
VACATION DAYS / PERSONAL TIME OFF ACCRUED / MONTHLY GAS ALLOTMENT PAID.
