SCALE ATTENDANT AND OFFICE ASSISTANT
Available immediately - summer
We are looking to fill 7 days a week / 8 hour shifts
Rate of Pay: $12.00/hour+ (DOE)
Age Requirement: 18+ years
Applicant will need to be reliable to the above schedule and maintain a good work ethic and attendance.
JOB DUTIES
**Detailed oriented and organized. Able to follow direction and instructions.
**Able to multitask by answering phones, taking detailed messages and assisting customers.
**Able to collect cash/check payments by filling out handwritten invoices and logging payments
onto a log sheet.
**Maintain a clean and organized office. Duties include vacuuming, wiping counters, collect
trash and light bathroom cleaning.
**Must have good communication skills on the phone as well as a CB radio when
communicating with drivers and loader hands.
**Must be capable of entering new truck and trailers in the scale computer with ALL the
necessary information per customer in the correct format.
**Needs to be attentive to ALL required fields in the scale computer to accurately log the
truck/haulers with the proper information for contractors reporting requests.
**Scale house operator will be responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the scale
system and reports. This may include scanning and/or emailing scale tickets and reports to
various customers, per their request.
**BACKGROUND CHECK required upon hiring.
DRESS CODE and PERSONAL PRESENTATION
**Casual office attire
**Jeans and leggings with appropriate coverage. Shorts and skirts of mid-thigh length
**Non-revealing shirts and tank tops (no spaghetti straps)
**NO sweat pants
**Personal appearance must be neat and clean
