An established engineering and management company has a full-time opening for a Construction Manager/Engineer (CM/E) to support multiple construction contracts. Anticipated project assignments include new construction and renovation of government office/administrative facilities, utilities, hangars, shelters, maintenance facilities, dining facilities, etc.
Qualifications needed include relevant education and experience in construction performing various duties and services. Position requires good communication, computer skills and a strong work ethic.
Duties and responsibilities may include but not be limited to: reviews of design; engineering problem solving; construction quality control and quality assurance; oversight of construction contractor compliance; construction contract administration; planning and scheduling; coordination and liaison with the client and the public; coordination of RFI's and change orders budget and cost control; monitoring site safety; maintaining daily logs; reviewing contractor logs.

Position Requirements:
-Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management Degree
-Ability to pass security screening for government facilities
-Must be able to pass a drug test
Prefer:
-2 years of construction experience
-Experience with federal DoD construction projects
-Experience as Construction Management and/or Project Engineer
