We are now hiring for an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF DINING SERVICES, RETAIL position.
Location: University of Alaska Fairbanks; 1731 S Chandalar Drive, Fairbanks AK, 99775. Note: online applications accepted only and you can apply at compassgroupcareers.com. This is a great opportunity for someone to be a part of a newly redesigned environment. This candidate will oversee a new coffee shoppe along with 2 existing coffee shoppes and oversee our convenient store. You will also be intricately involved with rebuilding the convenient store environment and rebuilding the team. We are seeking someone to start immediately and this is a year round position. Schedule: Must be able to work a flexible schedule. More details available upon interview. The assistant director of dining services will primarily support retail dining operations at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. You will supervise 10-15 employees, manage inventory, order food, scheduling, guest satisfaction, cash handling, and sanitation. They may be required to assist in other food service departments as needed.
Requirement: 2+ years of food service experience. Some supervisory/management experience.
