Accepting applicants to serve as crew leader on Fairbanks Lawn King's mowing crew. Valid drivers license and willingness to work very hard outdoors for long hours, to include weekends if need be are the only requirements. This job includes a lot of overtime hours at the beginning of the season (2-3 weeks) while completing leaf cleanups for Lawn King Customers. Once leaf cleanup season is over, the job involves mowing, trimming, and blowing as many as 100 lawns per week. Averages 43 hours per week M-F, but if rain out occurs, the crew must either work 14 hour days to catch up, or choose to complete the weekly route on the weekend. There is also an opportunity for year round work as Lawn King also maintains a medium sized snow plowing route throughout the winter. Seasonal Bonus: If you can work through the end of the mowing season you can earn a bonus starting at $1/hr for every hour you work this summer.
The ideal candidate for this job is someone who wants to make a lot of money while staying in Fairbanks, who is personable with customers, welcomes walking around sweaty all day, unafraid of 14+ hour days, and happy to come home sore, dirty, and well paid.
