The expeditor job description includes expediting and facilitating the flow of materials to and from the various departments at a job site. They also make sure that the right materials arrive at the right time. Also, the expeditor inspects goods upon delivery to ensure the level of quality and quantity and ensure adherence to specifications.
Qualifications and Working Conditions:
Expeditors should be in good physical condition, and they should be able to get along well with people. If you enjoy a challenge or solving problems, are naturally outgoing, and enjoy social interaction, then you will get satisfaction as an expeditor.
Requirements:
MUST be 25 or older to operate company vehicles & equipment
MUST be able to easily drive/park/backup trucks with pull along trailers
MUST be able to lift at least 75lbs
Obtain TWIC Card for base access
Responsible & Reliable
Pass pre-employment alcohol & drug test
