Arctic Wild is a wilderness guide service based in Fairbanks providing canoe, raft, backpacking, packrafting and basecamp trips in Alaska's Arctic and beyond. We are a small and thriving family owned business with a dedicated group of professional guides and high quality educational and adventurous trips.
We are looking for a full-time, seasonal operations and warehouse manager to work from mid-May to mid-September in our busy Fairbanks headquarters. The manager will be responsible for maintaining facilities and equipment, supporting guiding staff, and helping to ensure smooth logistics and quality experiences for our clients.
Responsibilities:
The position involves an almost uncountable number of tasks and responsibilities and is ever changing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
⢠Maintenance, inventory, and purchasing of field gear
⢠Supporting guides in trip preparation and clean-up
⢠Expediting and errand running
⢠Administrative duties
⢠Coordinate flight logistics and freight with regional air services
⢠Supervision of warehouse assistant

⢠Familiar with outdoor equipment and Alaska wilderness travel
⢠Familiar with Alaska geography and flight logistics
⢠Capable of physical labor and heavy lifting 75 lbs.
⢠Basic computer proficiency (Filemaker, and Excel are a plus)
⢠Valid Driver's License
