Arctic Data Services, LLC (ADS) is a small but rapidly growing environmental consulting firm based in Fairbanks, Alaska. ADS specializes in providing third-party chemical dataÂquality services to environmental contractors. ADS also provides a broad range of environmental and technical consulting services, including environmental site assessment, characterization and cleanup; groundwater monitoring; vapor intrusion; and remediation.
Position Description
Environmental Project Manager'sÂduties will include:
Managing projects
Client relations
Writing technical proposals
Writing work plans for ADEC approval
Writing reports
Conducting field work for environmental site investigations, including soil, water, and air sampling, occasionally in remote and/or rural settings
Limited amount of data validation and QA planning
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. in science, engineering, or related discipline
3+Âyears of experienceÂin environmental consulting
Project management experience
Skilled technical writer
Highly skilled atÂMS Excel
Data validation experience (at a minimum, experience completing ADEC laboratory data review checklists)
Knowledge of Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation regulations (specifically 18 AAC 75, 18 AAC 78)
Ability to work independently and a keen attention to detail is a must!
Preferred Qualifications
B.S. in chemistry or M.S. in science, engineering, or related discipline
Experience with PFAS contaminated sites
Experience managing projects at active DoD installations in Alaska
Experience with the FUDS or NALEMP programs, or working with the USACE or AFCEC in general
GISÂexperience
Current HAZWOPER training
Hours and Compensation
