Service Supervisor
Full time / Year round position
Cycle Alaska is hiring a Service supervisor (experienced mechanic) for our service area. Seeking a hard-working individual who takes pride in their own work, has attention to detail, enjoys providing excellent customer service and loves working on bikes. The right candidate will have the knowledge and skill to diagnose and repair or adjust all styles of bicycles and its components. As well as assist on the floor with sales, questions, phone calls and computer cash stations. All staff should have a positive attitude, be a team player, provide excellent customer service and be able to ask for help when needed. Applicant must have 4 years of experience as a professional mechanic, some supervisory experience preferred.
Cycle Alaska is a retail and full service shop that operates year-round, as well as a Tour and Rental company during the summer season. Juneau is an amazing place and has been growing as a biking community, and we strive to meet all the needs of each type of cyclist. Duties and responsibilities:
Keep an organized and well run service area, leading and training other mechanics
Assist with ordering, inventory management and processing warranties
Maintain and implement procedures to keep advancing the service area and shop
Wrench on all style of bikes, experience in suspension work a plus
Manage work orders in POS system, assign to mechanics and communicate with customers
Take part in training opportunities (TrekU, Shimano S-tec, PBMA tech classes, etc.)
Other duties assigned by management
Compensation and benefits include:
40 hours a week, some overtime required during peak season

Hourly wages based on experience
Up to $2500 in moving cost paid for (reimbursed at the end of the first season)
