NorthStar Helicopters is seeking a highly qualified candidate to fill our Lead Dispatcher position at our location by the Airport. The Lead Dispatcher is a customer service position requiring a high degree of schedule flexibility, multi-tasking, critical thinking, problem solving, and communication capabilities. This position is seasonal, running from May 1st-October 1st. The Lead Dispatcher will report directly to the Tour Supervisor and Tour Manager, and work in coordination with other customer service representatives.
The Lead Dispatcher will assist in the daily operations of the NorthStar office. Primary responsibilities include flight coordination and tracking, preparation of manifests, and directing communication between the NorthStar office, pilots, and glacier guides. Additional duties include answering telephones, data entry, reservations, gift shop retail sales, and independently opening and closing the office as needed. Must have strong customer service and multitasking skills. Record-keeping experience and organizational skills desired.
