First National Bank Alaska (FNBA) is seeking a Teller I for our branch in Sitka. The Teller I is responsible for processing routine customer transactions while adhering to established cash limits and ensuring compliance with established bank procedures and regulatory requirements.
Candidates for this position need to have the following availability:
Monday - Thursday from 8:40AM to 5:40PM,
Fridays from 9AM to 6PM,
Saturdays from 10AM to 2PM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides excellent service to branch customers; processes routine paying and receiving transactions, operates Teller Machines, and balances cash drawer.
2. Processes Automated Teller Machine, mail, and night depository transactions.
3. Analyzes checks and deposits for transaction anomalies and performs regulatory reporting as required.
4. Explains, promotes, and sells basic products and services, and refers customers to other appropriate areas of the bank for additional expertise.
5. Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: Six months cash handling or customer service experience, or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.
Preferred: Prior Teller experience.
