, a Respec Company, is seeking a seasonal Field Technician/Inspector to join our full-service engineering firm. We design innovative world-class projects utilizing state-of-the-art technologies from five offices throughout Alaska.
The Field Technician/Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections, field/lab quality control, testing of concrete, soil, aggregate and bituminous paving materials. This position requires the accurate and timely reporting of test results, laboratory maintenance and routine communication with project managers.
Qualifications/Skills:
• 2 years of relevant work experience in construction inspection, materials testing or equivalent
• Nuclear density gauge certification desired
• WAQTC or equivalent materials sampling and testing certification/experience
• AK-CESCL or equivalent erosion and sediment control certification/experience
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
