The Fund Development & Marketing Manager will serve an important role in assisting management and staff to close the gaps in funding for our programs and to help ensure continuation of service to the vulnerable and needy. The Fund Development & Marketing Manager will coordinate CCS's overall fund development and marketing efforts, including drafting the agency's annual fund development plan, cultivating and soliciting gifts from community members, regional businesses, corporations and foundations, analyze fund development efforts for effectiveness, oversee the administration of the donor mailing list and database, and provide overall agency support for program-specific fund development efforts. This position will also help recruit, coordinate, and oversee main office and fundraising volunteers. The successful candidate must have strong verbal communication skills, a high degree of professionalism, the ability to multitask and successfully manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines, the ability to secure and maintain strong partnerships in the community and event planning experience. This position also requires the ability to work outside traditional business hours as needed to coordinate and attend fund development events.

Qualifications:

Minimum two years of demonstrated success in a marketing, sales, business development, communications and/or corporate or community fundraising role; experience working in a volunteer environment as either staff or volunteer.

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, fundraising management, development or related field preferred; may substitute years of experience in a related field. Must possess a valid Alaska driver's license and vehicle.

Compensation and Benefits

This position is full-time, 37.5 hours/week, wage commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision and life insurance, a 403(b) Thrift Savings Plan, paid time off and 12 paid holidays annually.
