Our approach combines attachment focused therapeutic work and the principles and concepts of recovery with experiential therapies. The individuals admitted to the Recovery Housing Program receive the latest in substance use disorder treatment and therapy for co-occurring disorders.

The SeaView Community Services Recovery Housing Program can provide living space for up to 10 individuals who will reside in SeaView’s bay view apartments located in downtown Seward, Alaska. Residents live in shared apartments while participating in a program of therapeutic activities, supportive relationships, and psychiatric treatment. Clinicians and Clinical Associates spend time in residents’ homes each day to gain insight that enhances treatment and recovery.

Residents are initially engaged in daily clinical programming for a minimum of 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday, at the SeaView Plaza under the direction of the Clinical Program Manager. As a resident moves forward in their recovery process, services are decreased, and independence and autonomy are established prior to discharge. The program gives residents the opportunity to prepare for living independently in recovery while being in a safe, therapeutic environment. Staff are available to offer support, guidance, and resources to help residents with the challenges of sustaining life-long change.
