Job Description
Southeast Senior Services in Saxman/Ketchikan is looking for a Family Caregiver Support Advocate to assist the native elders of Saxman and their caregivers. Duties include helping (unpaid) informal caregivers of Native elders continue in their caregiving role so that elders can continue to live at home safely. One-on-one interviews with Native elders to assess their needs will also be expected of this position.
Qualifications
Experience working with elders preferred. Background check required.
Compensation and Benefits
This position is part-time, 25 hours a week. Starting wage is $20/hour. Benefits include a 403(b) Thrift Savings Plan, paid time off, and 12 paid holidays annually.
