The role of the Residential Support Specialist is dual: to work closely with JAMHI Case Managers in making sure residential services are delivered, and to conduct limited property management functions. Residential Support Specialists are responsible for providing services to residents in the general milieu. Residential Support Specialist will maintain program structure through direct contact and informal counseling with residents, crisis intervention, enforcement of rules, and monitoring of the facility, will operate the reception desk 24 hours per day, and will assist with other duties. Residential Support Specialist will facilitate therapeutic activities and engage with tenants through these activities.
