Alaska Glacier Seafoods is a locally (family) owned and operated fish processing company located in Juneau, Alaska. We have been processing and shipping high quality, locally caught, fresh and frozen seafood for 25 years.

Job duties include:
Fisherman Service Representative
Manage fisherman communication and information
Manage bait, fuel, CSSD deductions, settlements, payment and contact info
Convey tender location/information
Submit prior notice of landings
Collect, distribute and assist fleet with compliance issues/information
Coordinate ice, bait, fuel sales, supplies and fish deliveries
Fish Ticket Processing/Reporting
Fish ticket landing and processing using Parity/Catch Manager (Inventory System),
E-landings/T-Landings (on-line fish ticket program) and QuickBooks
Verify accuracy of all fish ticket information including math on tally sheets/poundage, prices, statistical areas, payment percentages (splits), deductions, credits, overages to prepare ticket for submission and payment
Submit timely and accurate reports and information to ADF and G, NMFS or other
Authorities
Run reports and process information in Excel using formulas and pivot tables
Tender/Barge Management
Coordinate with each tender/barge at the beginning of each fishery and updating tender lists, phone numbers and ADF and G Tender Registration
Collect, organize and distribute tender supplies (laptops, printers, phone and tender lists, registrations, charts, banners and office supplies)
Update tender PTI (Processor Tender Interface) on computers
Prepare, arrange and conduct training on T-landings
Collect, verify and distribute ACCURATE price lists for fish and fuel
Manage USB Drives for T-landings (update with ACCURATE prices, arrange the transfer of these drives to/from the tenders)
Provide professional and supportive feedback to the tenders on issues with paperwork, processes, etc.
Coordinate purchases shopping requests for Tender/Barge/Fishermen with office staff
Arrange and verify delivery of Tender/Barge/Fishermen supplies
Manage all aspects of the QuickBooks POS system, Iridium Sat Phone, Hughes Net Internet system for Barges
Main contact for barge staff (manage purchase and delivery of supplies for store, general needs of the barges)
Office Manager Support
Enter A/R, A/P into QuickBooks
Prepare fisherman settlements for payment
Mange vehicle maintenance/oil change log, DMV renewals
Manage supplies inventory (check inventory and update supply list, arrange for purchase, stock and organize upon delivery)
Manage cell and satellite phones
Research, compile, prepare or report information/data, as requested
Manage projects/tasks, as assigned
Mange conference room (Set-up/organize/tidy up for conferences, tours)
Manage scheduled cleanings
Manage information and utilities for rental units
General Office Duties
Provide customers service at front counter and by phone
Facilitate bait and Ice sales and restocking of inventory, as necessary
Process Employee purchases
Provide P.O.’s per AGS protocol
Manage incoming mail/freight
Collect Rent
Assist HR, as necessary
Communicate vending issues
Filing
Provide support to Management, as requested
There may be other duties as assigned. This job is located at 13555 Glacier Highway, Juneau, AK and is not suited to working remotely. AGS meets or exceeds State mandated protocols for COVID-19. Hourly wage is DOE. If you are interested in joining our team, please submit a resume and cover letter.
