Join an award-winning craft brewery as an integral member of our QA Team! The QA Analyst's principal focus is to perform physical and analytical tests and validation of product samples to ensure process control and the quality and consistency of Alaskan Brewing products.
The successful candidate must meet the following minimum qualifications:
⢠Bachelor's degree in a related science required.
⢠Ability to comprehend the theory and practice of brewing and fermentation.
⢠Laboratory experience; including bench chemistry, aseptic technique, and scientific methodology preferred
⢠Working knowledge of quality assurance systems (i.e., HACCP), process controls, and compliance measures preferred
⢠Strong working knowledge and experience in microcomputer systems including spreadsheets, databases, word processing and statistical software packages
⢠Knowledge and appreciation for premium quality malt beverages
⢠Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
