Join Chefs Kirsten and Mandy Dixon for a summer of adventure in Alaska summer of 2019. At Within The Wild Adventure Company, we believe in quality in all things we do and this is especially true in our kitchens. In our award-winning kitchens, we prepare our foods from scratch, we use local Alaska products when possible, grow seasonal gardens, and serve innovative and exciting cuisine to both our guests and to our staff. Chefs in our kitchens are professionals who work closely together as a team to create seasonal menus that are some of the most innovative cuisine being served in Alaska. Our chefs are part of our leadership and management teams.

We are looking for a Cafe chef manager for our small 30-seat cafe in the vibrant community of Homer, Alaska. The La Baleine Cafe is a local favorite, located on the Homer Spit (harbor) area. This position includes travel and housing (which is hard to come by!). This is an at-the-stove position.

We work approximately 10-12 hours per day and this position includes 1 day off per week. Our cuisine emphasizes global inspiration utilizing local products.
