Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and the Hawaiian Islands (PPGNHI) is a non-profit family planning agency and a leader in reproductive health care, rights, and education in Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, and Washington.

We provide high-quality, affordable reproductive health care for women, men, and teens in 27 health centers across the four states. Many of our patients have no other health care available to them.

ABOUT THIS POSITION

PPGNHI is seeking an exceptional Nurse Practitioner/ Clinician to provide direct service reproductive healthcare.

This is a part time opportunity based on Soldotna, Alaska. Clinic hours are Monday 9:30am-5:30pm, Tuesday 11:00am -7:00pm, Wednesday 9:30am-5:30pm.

This is a .6 FTE position.

There is an opportunity to travel to our Anchorage Health Care Center if additional hours are desired.

Major responsibilities include:

Evaluates, diagnoses, and treats reproductive health concerns including preventive care, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, pregnancy, and common gynecological conditions.

Assists in ensuring the highest quality patient care in compliance with medical standards and guidelines and PPGNHI protocols

Collaborates with health center operations and management staff to ensure PPGNHI productivity expectations and compliance standards are maintained.

Our ideal candidate:

Has experience as a Clinician working with women and reproductive healthcare

Demonstrates and maintains a high degree of professionalism ability to maintain client confidentiality

Is highly detail oriented and has strong organizational skills

Is able to process a high volume of work within established time frames and deadlines

Values continuous learning and seeks ongoing training and development

Values team work, flexibility, and adaptability; embraces change

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other software applications and has experience with EHR.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Licensed as ARNP, PA or CNM in AK

If applying as a PA, candidates must have at least 2 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant.
