Tracking CodeDPB-NS-PB-19-FJob Code19-1742Posting TitleSuperintendentPost Date11/8/2019Full Time / Part-TimeFull TimeTravelUp to 50%CityNorth SlopeStateAKCountryUSDescriptionNS-PB-19-FUIC Oil & Gas Support, LLC seeks a Site Superintendent for Road transportation and logistics support services to oil companies, governmental agencies and the private sector within the State of Alaska.Essential Functions: Manage operations activities of functional departments Actively participate in development of contract negotiations with new clients Review activity reports to measure performance, productivity and achievements Determine Areas of improvement Schedule project logical steps to budget time required to meet deadlines Confer with supervisory personnel, contractors to discuss, resolve matters following policy and procedure Support preparation of contract revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with clients, suppliers and subcontractors Support preparation of budget estimates, progress reports and cost tracking reports Inspect or review project scope of work to monitor compliance for both client and company to ensure that we meet or exceed the established safety codes and regulations Take actions to deal with results of delays caused by weather or emergencies on worksite Support management of HSET programs in compliance with UIC Oil & Gas Supports’ policies andprocedures RequirementsEducation High school diplomaYear of experience Five years of experience with Pisten Bully’s, sleds, toboggans Two years Management experienceRequired skills or certifications Knowledge of Logistics planning & support Knowledge Traffic planning and routing logistics Knowledge of Fuel supply plan with local venders Knowledge Vehicle / Equipment support supply planning Knowledge of Cam / Vehicle and Equipment logistics planning Analyze needs for additional asset requirements to support services in Alaska Analyze the needs for key individuals and positions for support services in Alaska Ability to develop and maintain client relationships on multiple levels Ability to understand the needs of clients work scope Ability to Develop procedures, lead in strategic planning and participate in annual operating support objective for the following years activities Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning and support for clients Knowledge of meeting quality standards and evaluation for company and client satisfaction Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Ability to maintain professional relationships Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail Ability to organize and prioritize work load Proficient in Microsoft office Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
