POSITION SUMMARY:.and.nbsp; The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing nursing care to patients, along with performing administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a medical providerand.nbsp; Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing and coding for insurance purposesand.nbsp; Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patents for examinations or procedures, drawing blood and administering medications or treatments as directed by a medical providerand.nbsp; The Licensed Practical Nurse is an integral part of our interdisciplinary team.REQUIREMENTS:.and.nbsp; Graduate of a LPN program; current Alaska licensureand.nbsp; Good knowledge of nursing theory and practice including knowledge of and ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures, current federal, state and local standards; skilled in use of computer, applicable software, peripheral equipment and appropriate clinical data basesand.nbsp; Strong customer services skillsand.nbsp; Prefer one year of health care experience, preferably in a physician's office/clinic setting and phlebotomy experience.
