Growing defense manufacturing company is looking for mid to senior level Quality Engineers to join their team working heavily with customers on new product lines. Positions available are direct hire and contract if preferred. Position comes with good benefits and career growth opportunities.

• BS degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering or equivalent experience- products are primarily mechanical or electro-mechanical in nature


• Should have 3+ years' experience in Quality Engineering in manufacturing with machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, machine shop, assembly type background and know how to solve the quality problems in those areas


• Strong experience with First Articles, Root Cause, Corrective Action, working with suppliers and customers on quality processes, audits, etc.


• Familiar with ERP systems and Solidworks


• Strong GD&T experience


• Composites a plus


• Must be adept in Excel and know v-lookups and pivot tables


• Experience in R&D quality process initiatives a huge plus!
