Location: Chandler, AZ Description: Our client is currently seeking a Transport Engineer for the Phoenix Market.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
responsible for providing complete technical oversight and project management for 5G C-Band Transport related projects. These projects focus on the network layer upgrades to support 100G & 10G architecture to each cell site.
Responsible for a large quantity of projects where the best solutions must be evaluated and activities correlated between multiple engineers and/or workgroups.
Qualifications & Requirements:
3+ years Experience in the cellular or telecommunications industry.
Knowledge of RAN RF and Transport architecture, particularly at the edge (cell site, hub, switch, etc.)
Knowledge in CWDM/DWDM Optical Transport systems
Experience with Dark Fiber vendors
Knowledge of related interconnect circuits, type and features i.e. EBH/EOS/TDM/Dark Fiber.
