Additional information can be found at.JOB SUMMARYEmployee Relations Managers serve as valued leaders on the Employee Relations team, responsible for managing relationships between business leaders and employees at the local and regional levels, promoting fair and consistent treatment, employee engagement, and compliance with employment-related laws.Employee Relations Managers are approachable, trustworthy, impartial, objective, and knowledgeable professionals who communicate effectively, provide inspirational guidance and leadership to the Employee Relations team, and deliver valuable services and support to the Company’s leaders and employees, in furtherance of Apria’s values and objectives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with overseeing management of the day-to-day administration of Apria’s Employee Relations program and assist with implementation of changes to Employee Relations policies and procedures
Discover patterns in the Employee Relations program and make recommendations for improvements, efficiencies, and other positive change
Shape and promote a culture of collaboration, trust, and teamwork, throughout the organization, through leadership and effective communication
Advise, coach and counsel employees and senior management with regard to career development, interpersonal/management skills, dispute resolution, and performance and conduct issues
Assist with education and awareness efforts and answering questions regarding Human Resources policies and procedures
Field, investigate, and fairly resolve employee complaints and grievances
Provide consultation, coaching, and problem-solving assistance to business leaders and Employee Relations team members on employee relations strategies on: retention, career development, performance management, involuntary terminations, policy interpretation, etc., including complex and/or high-risk matters
Facilitate implementation of Company initiatives, policies, and programs driving business objectives
Coordinate efforts with HR Service Center and other specialized HR functions to provide employees and management with excellent customer service
Assist in responding to unemployment, discrimination, wage and hour, and other employment-related claims, and serve as a witness when necessary.
Assist with developing, maintaining and analyzing goals, metrics, and success indicators for the Employee Relations program
Comply with record-keeping requirements
May assist with required Affirmative Action Implementation and reporting, pursuant to OFCCP requirements
Remain current on employment law and trends
Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Required QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation and/or Experience
Four-year college degree or equivalent
At least seven years of related experience
At least one year of direct (manager) or indirect (lead) supervisor experience

Ability to use discretion in managing confidential information/records
History of exercising sound judgment, collaborating with business partners and escalating issues when necessary
Adept at multi-tasking, meeting deadlines, and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
Solid knowledge and understanding of employment laws
Computer Skills
Intermediate level Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Experience with timekeeping systems (ADP and eTIME preferred)
Language Skills
Proficient in English (reading, writing, verbal)
Mathematical Skills
College-level mathematical proficiency, with a strong ability to understand, interpret and develop spreadsheet data
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business Administration
Experience working with confidential information in a highly regulated industry (such as healthcare or financial services)
Experience working for a federal contractor subject to OFCCP requirements
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Professional Designations
HCRI-SPHR or SHRM-SCP
