Job Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business users to understand the problems, requirements and document the changes.
  • High energy, self-starter, with aptitude for learning new technologies.
  • Demonstrable working experience in C# .NET framework, WebAPI / REST.
  • Experience in UX development, Single-Page Applications, and interfacing with frontend javascript frameworks
  • Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing and code tuning.
  • Troubleshoot the production problems, identify the root cause, and provide quick solutions
  • Follow Agile process and provide status reports
  • Identify website performance issues and tune applications for performance
  • Maintain existing code base and convert to latest versions of ASP.NET framework
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines
Job Requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience with C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Web Service Technologies, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • 5+ years’ experience with LINQ, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, and DTS/SSIS.
  • Experience in designing, coding, testing applications using industry best practices and standards
  • Knowledge of Responsive web design using frameworks like bootstrap
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum, DevOps, and continuous integration

The candidate must have the ability to study current practices, think outside the box, and foster creative analysis to complex problems.

Verbal/Written Communication:
The candidate must have strong English language (verbal and written communication) skills. He/she should be able to contribute in group meetings, provide project updates, write functional/training documents, and relay information accurately to other parties

Teamwork and Culture:
The candidate must be culturally compatible with Microchip’s values based structure and style and must be able to work in a collaborative environment with both individual and team decision making. He/she needs to be proactive, customer-oriented, and be able to learn and adapt quickly in a dynamic and cross-functional environment. He/she should have well developed emotional intelligence in the key areas of self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills.
