The Farmers Insurance District Office is actively looking for entrepreneurial-minded individuals who want to be their own boss and run a business with unlimited income potential. At Farmers, we provide you with a unique opportunity to "Build or Buy" an Agency. We also have the award-winning University of Farmers to help you enhance your skills.

Our Agency Owners operate as independent contractors, representing Farmers Insurance and its products exclusively. As an Agency Owner, you will be responsible for your agency’s overall management, sales, and growth. You will also hire your own staff and work with your team to meet the strategic business goals you set.

Currently, we have the below opportunities into becoming an Agency Owner with Farmers Insurance in Northern Arizona.

Build your own Agency: Like a Franchise, you will start with a branded office location and staff. This program comes with aggressive bonus and commission plans as well as training and support. Proof of financial assets required. LOC loans available if needed through Farmers Insurance Credit Union. We currently have opportunities to Build your own Agency throughout Northern Arizona.

Buy an existing Agency: Purchase an up and running Farmers Insurance Agency with a client/income base in place. Proof of financial assets required. Full Financing available from Farmers Credit Union with $0 down!

We currently have agencies for sale in Prescott, Cottonwood, and Heber/Overgaard, AZ.

Responsibilities of our Agency Owners:

· Sell and Solicit Farmers Products

· Actively Market in the community

· Help the Agency maintain and grow its book of business

· Educate clients on insurance

· Work existing leads, develop new leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs and market appropriate products

· Establish client relationships and provide exceptional and extraordinary service

· Ensure that all quotes, procedures, and practices are compliant with Agency and Farmers expectations.

Requirements to become an Agency Owner:

· College degree (preferred but not required)

· Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude

· Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up

· Confident, self-starter who works well within a team and independently

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Desire to continually learn new products and services

· Must be able to prove $50k in Liquid Assets (Business line of credit available as well as funding from Farmers Credit Union)

· No bankruptcies within the last 12 months, not more than $1000 in collections

· Favorable criminal record with no felonies

· Obtaining a Property, Causality, Life and Health insurance licenses in AZ
