The State of Arizona is looking for an Accounting Specialist in the Flagstaff area.
*Duties:
-Work independently with minimal supervision and is responsible for creating, processing and monitoring district purchasing and supply request orders.
-Research state contracted vendors and reviews supply agreements, vendor lists and catalogs for best prices
-Establish open and one time Purchase Orders (POs) as necessary
-Vendor follow-ups
-Complete receivers for vendor payment and maintains purchasing log.
*Requirements:
-Recent relative experience
-Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel including formulas and pivot tables
-Highly organized, analytical, and detail oriented skills
-Excellence in customer service, negotiation and interpersonal skills
-Oral and written communication skills
-Clear criminal background
In state travel may be required. Must possess a valid Arizona drivers' license at time of appointment. Employee may be required to use own transportation; however, mileage will be reimbursed.
