Civitan Foundation is looking for dedicated employees FOR SEASONAL JOBS AT OUR CAMP IN WILLIAMS. Assisting individuals with developmental disabilities. Camp Civitan provides a residential camping experience for children and adults with disabilities through 10 week - long sessions in the summer and weekend adventures year-round, Camp Civitan provides barrier-free camping experiences that promotes personal growth and fosters independence.
THESE ARE THE AVAILABLE POSITIONS;
CAMP PROGRAM DIRECTOR - Oversee onsite camp programming including field trips
VOLUNTEER SUPERVISOR - Assign, manage and oversee enrichment for weekly youth volunteers
PROVIDER (COUNSELOR) - Support campers by guiding them through programs ans assisting with personal care
ART INSTRUCTOR - Plan and implement daily adaptive art activities for campers
ADVENTURE INSTRUCTOR - Plan and implement daily adventure-oriented activities for campers
THEATER INSTRUCTOR - Facilitate dramatic exercises and weekly skit development for camper groups
SPORTS & GAMES - Engage campers in healthy movement utilizing onsite sports facilities
MEDIA SPECIALIST - Manage camp social media, and act as videographer and photographer for camp
Qualified individuals will be at least 18 years of age, pass a back ground check, have certification in CPR, First Aid, Article 9. (we can train in all of these areas) You must have a desire to help others with special needs, be flexible, responsible, and have good communication and interpersonal skills.
We are currently hiring providers in the greater Phoenix and Flagstaff area, seasonal, and year-round positions are available. We offer competitive rates, benefits offered for full time employees. We provide free training of all necessary courses to enhance your knowledge.
