LINE COOK

Now hiring a Line Cook for local resort. Looking for qualified candidate to prepare food to the specifications of the chef.

Job duties for Line Cook include, but are not limited to:

Line Cooks may set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.

Line Cooks prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces.)

Line Cooks cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.

Line Cooks must keep a clean work station, take care of leftover food, and stock inventory appropriately.

Line Cook will pre-cook items such as bacon, in order to prepare them for later use.

Line Cook will answer, report and follow instructions of the executive chef.

Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.

Line Cook must comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.

Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.

Requirements include: Proven cooking experience, excellent understanding of various cooking methods and procedures, accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.
