PROPER MEATS + PROVISIONS is looking to fill one Full-Time Butcher position as well as one part time Line Cook Position. All employees start at $12/hr plus tips, tips range anywhere between $3-$7/hr extra.
All candidates must have previous experience working in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant, a sincere desire to work in a customer service driven kitchen and dining room fueled by a hard-working TEAM environment. Self-Motivation is a must, having the ability to stay busy during the âslowâ times is crucial.
PART TIME LINE COOK
- Previous experience with line cooking is a plus, but willing to work with right candidate
- Must be able to organize yourself to execute high volume rushes
- Help assemble artisanal sandwiches, soups, and salads
- Consistent Work Ethic is crucial, always staying busy with prep tasks and/or cleaning projects
- We like to work clean, so please remember that proper dress attire and ability to clean up after yourself
- Ability to cook steaks to specified temperature is definitely a plus as well
- This position is MAXIMUM three days a week
FULL TIME BUTCHER
- This position is a self-sustaining, organized position that must be able to manage our case of hand crafted steaks, sausages, and other charcuterie items
- Previous experience in Whole Animal Butchery is an absolute plus
- Responsible for working with guests to order sandwiches and help accommodate any needs out of the case
- Will work with Chef/Kitchen Manager on making a butchering schedule for sausages, Roast Beef, Pastrami, Corned Beef, while also utilizing every piece of scrap to ensure 100% utilization of the animals we receive
- A good attitude is an ABSOLUTE MUST, working in a team oriented environment with a strong, consistent communication is the only way we believe how to operate
All employees must have Valid Driver's License and Coconino County Food Handler's Card.
