The Smiles Movement (thesmilesmovement.com) is a mobile dental practice that serves Native American children across reservations in Arizona. We have a position available on the Navajo Reservation and orientation begins the first week in August. You work with experienced Native American dental assistants and our front office staff is always available to assist you. You MUST have an Arizona license no later than August 1. ADVANTAGES:
We are the only mobile practice recognized by the National Health Service Corps, and have a high HPSA rating of 23 out of 26. This puts you in an EXCELLENT POSITION TO APPLY FOR STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENT by the state of AZ. Over 50% of applicants receive the $32,500 per year award. You must have your AZ license and the application deadline is June 1st to qualify for the upcoming school year.
You work a short day (usually 8:30 to 3:30). There is NO CALL, NO WEEKENDS, AND YOU ARE OFF ALL MAJOR HOLIDAYS.

We are an EXCELLENT ALTERNATIVE TO CORPORATE DENTISTRY. We have heard many stories about the corporate world. We pay on production not collection, there are no broken appointments, and YOUR CHAIR IS NEVER EMPTY and your care plan is not changed.
You are PROVIDED with a furnished apartment on the Navajo Reservation. You can live there full time, or some choose to rent an apartment in Flagstaff, a beautiful mountain college town close to the reservation. (https://www.flagstaff.az.gov/) Others prefer Phoenix, the big city. You are welcome to bring an important other, even if that is a furry friend!
You are off two months in the summer when school is out. In July you receive a BONUS CHECK for 10% of your earnings for the entire year, provided you are available for work through the end of the school year. This smooths out cash flow in the summer while you enjoy two months of leisure.
YOU CAN EXPECT to earn $800 to $1200 per day depending on your experience and expertise. Your salary, coupled with lack of living costs, and a good chance of loan repayment, is a great compensation package. Feel free to call one of our associates for details on salary and lifestyle.
