Work with a reputable and engaging culinary team, supporting them in developing cutting edge cuisine. This is an entry level kitchen position that has potential to grow into a cooking role. Cleanliness and care of equipment in the kitchen is important to quality; our dishwashers / stewards play and important role in our ability to create and deliver extraordinary experiences for the guests. Free meal on every shift, paid time off, free uniform and flexible scheduling.Â
Work Performed and Responsibilities:
-Care for all chinaware, glassware, and equipment
-Maintain cleanliness of our kitchens
-Organize and maintain inventory of china, glass and silver
-Clean up spills and safety hazards immediately
-Empty garbage and laundry bags
-Mop floors and clean outside dock area and other common areas
-Clean and stock food line in employee cafeteria and banquet kitchen
-Clean, maintain, and breakdown dish machine at beginning and end of each shift
-Complete checklist while performing closing and opening duties
-Act as an ambassador of Enchantment by speaking positively of the Resort at all times
-Foster a work environment of teamwork by assisting co-workers and other departments as necessary to ensure guest satisfaction
-Must maintain current food handlers certification
-Other duties as assigned by management
