Needed for immediate start: Stall cleaning positions at Flagstaff's Premier horse boarding facility.
Stall cleaning position is responsible for cleaning, watering, and general maintenance of the horses stalls while maintaining the cleanliness of the barn. HORSE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED, but further job training will be provided. Applicant must be self-motivated, flexible, and hard working. THIS IS A VERY PHYSICALLY DEMANDING JOB. Requires heavy lifting and being exposed to the elements (yes, winter.) Hours are flexible, between 6-10 hour days. Position has the potential to become full time to the right applicant after performance review. Compensation is fair and competitive! Job expectations are as follows:
- Report between 6-8AM daily (varies depending on time of year and amount of horses)
- Clean Stalls/ add additional bedding as needed (25-45 stalls)
- Keep water buckets clean and full
- Report shavings used (simple log provided)
- Report any noticed changes to horses health, feed/water intake, to Staff
- Report any maintenance repairs to Staff
