Sedona Candle Magic is seeking an inventive, upbeat individual to join our team of candle makers! This is a unique position in entertainment retail, catering directly to tourists in the heart of Uptown Sedona. Any kind of artistic background can apply. Customer service experience is required. In this position, artists will be formally trained on the candle making craft and will be live-creating in our shops daily, whilst simultaneously providing customer support and processing sales.
The job description includes, but is not limited to:
⢠Packaging and ringing up purchases
⢠Engaging customers to introduce our product and answer questions
⢠Candle making: dipping layers of colored, hot wax and carving designs into the pliable material
⢠Facilitating our Activity Station, where customers are able to dip their own candles
⢠Maintaining cleanliness and organization within each of our three shop locations in Uptown Sedona
Training for the first two (2) weeks starts at $13.50/hr, then raised to $14.00/hr. After 90 days from start date, hourly pay is increased to $15.00/hr AND paid commission per piece. (Can average $17/hr)
