B&W Fire Security Systems is accepting applications for a full time Fire Sprinkler Foreman. The primary function of this position: Installation and service of fire protection systems for commercial and industrial applications.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must have installation and service experience with Fire Suppression systems including, but not limited to, wet, dry, pre-action, deluge sprinkler and fire suppression systems
- Must be able to read blueprints
- Maintain proper documentation for work performed
- Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 75 pounds or more.
- Perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders; scaffolding and high lift equipment, working in ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc
- Use a variety of hand tools and power tools
- Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner and maintain a clean and safe work area
- May be required to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer installation requirements
- Ability to work independently and in a professional manner
- Be self-motivated and pay attention to detail
- Perform other duties as directed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- MUST HAVE at least 2 years Fire Sprinkler Foreman experience
- Strong consideration will be given to applicants with experience running small and large construction projects
- Must be able to work side by side with and train an Apprentice
- Valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements
- Strong organizational skills, positive attitude and the ability to learn quickly
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to obtain and retain any licenses that are required by National, State and Local Codes.
Pay: depends on experience
