Cyber Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Integration Manager

Location: US - Remote

Work you'll do

You will be responsible for all cyber security domain activities associated with mergers and acquisitions. You will work closely with the business, ITS PMO, Cyber stakeholders, and other ITS pillar leads. You will contribute to the analysis of complex technology and operational, identify required controls and standards, provide training to new joiners, and manage risk management activities.
  • Perform due diligence risk assessments and security posture evaluations of acquisition targets
  • Manage policy exception processes related to the acquisition, remediation, and replacement of new technology
  • Participate in integration planning required to transition and integrate acquired businesses onto Deloitte shared services
  • Evaluate technology solution privacy, confidentially, and security controls for compliance with company, regulatory, and legal requirements
  • Identify, communicate, and coordinate risk management activities such as vulnerability scanning, confidentiality and privacy review, and vendor assessment
  • Prepare risk assessment reports for management to review and approve throughout the due diligence and integration phases of the project
  • Build relationships with resources responsible for the acquisition target's security posture, and facilitate introductions to long-term Cyber Security points-of-contact relevant to the business
  • Identify, coordinate, and deliver training on Deloitte Cyber Security policies, standards, and procedures to appropriate team members
  • Identify, implement, and socialize improvement recommendations that enhance the Cyber M&A program and/or secure the posture of technology solutions

Cyber Security

Cyber Security vigilantly protects Deloitte and client data. The team leads a strategic cyber risk program that adapts to a rapidly changing threat landscape, changes in business strategies, risks, and vulnerabilities. Using situational awareness, threat intelligence, and building a security culture across the organization, the team helps to protect the Deloitte brand.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration, or relevant educational or professional experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of broad responsibility experience with business enabling technologies, risk assessments, and solution development or integration
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Professional experience or education in an Information Security domain; including CISSP, CISA, or CCSP; preferred
  • Direct experience in an IT infrastructure related field. Preferred backgrounds would include experience delivering compliance or risk assessments, application security development or testing, and specific knowledge or one or more cyber security standards such as ISO or NIST
  • Excellent communication, report writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and cross functionally
  • Excellent time management and related organizational skills, including appropriate sense of urgency, a proactive approach, and a suitable ability to anticipate and manage project lifecycle events, issues, and obstacles
  • Consulting skills (client service orientation, conflict resolution, analysis/synthesis of information, negotiation, project management, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, listening and facilitation skills

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $104,575 to $192,590.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
